Pakistan’s security forces carried out two highly coordinated intelligence-driven operations in Balochistan, successfully eliminating a total of 15 Indian-backed terrorists, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). These operations highlight the relentless efforts of Pakistan’s security establishment to dismantle foreign-supported terrorism networks and secure the region against external threats.
On 5 March 2026, actionable intelligence prompted a precision operation in Harnai District, targeting hideouts of terrorists affiliated with Fitna-ul-Khawarij, operating under Indian backing. Security forces executed a meticulously planned assault, engaging the terrorists with tactical precision. The operation resulted in the elimination of 12 Indian-backed terrorists, neutralizing a significant threat to regional stability. Weapons exchanges were conducted under strict operational protocols, ensuring the safety of security personnel while maximizing operational effectiveness.
In a second operation conducted in Bismah District, security forces traced the presence of terrorists linked to Fitna-al-Hindustan, another organization reportedly receiving Indian support. Using advanced intelligence and coordinated tactics, the forces successfully neutralized 3 additional Indian-backed terrorists.
Recovered from both operations were weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials, confirming the terrorists’ active involvement in planning and executing violent acts in the region. These individuals had been linked to multiple terrorist plots, highlighting the ongoing threat posed by foreign-supported networks.
ISPR officials confirmed that clearance operations continue in the affected areas to eliminate any remaining threats. These efforts form part of Pakistan’s broader National Action Plan, guided by the Federal Apex Committee under the vision of “Azm-e-Istihkam” (Resolve for Stability). The operations reaffirm Pakistan’s determination to eradicate terrorism networks operating with foreign backing and to safeguard its citizens.
The military and law enforcement agencies emphasized that coordinated intelligence-based operations will continue across Balochistan and the rest of Pakistan, targeting Indian-backed terrorist networks, neutralizing their operational capabilities, and preventing further threats to national security.
