In a decisive counterterrorism operation, security forces successfully conducted a targeted search operation in Ornach, resulting in the deaths of 14 khawarij affiliated with the Fitna al Hindustan faction of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
According to official sources, the operation was carried out following credible intelligence regarding the presence of heavily armed khawarij in the area. The objective was to neutralize elements posing a threat to civilians, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure in the region.
Security officials confirmed that the khawarij engaged forces during the operation, which led to a brief but intense exchange of fire. The swift and coordinated response by security personnel ensured that the threat was contained and further escalation was prevented.
Authorities have emphasized that this operation demonstrates the continued commitment of security forces to uphold law and order in Balochistan and to dismantle networks of violent extremism operating in the province.
Investigations are ongoing to identify any additional affiliates or support networks linked to the Fitna-al-Hindustan BLA in the region. Security measures in Ornach and surrounding areas have been heightened to prevent further terrorist activity.
The provincial administration has urged local residents to cooperate with law enforcement authorities and report any suspicious activity, reinforcing community engagement as a key component of counterterrorism efforts.
