In response to unprovoked cross-border aggression by the Tehrik-e-Taliban Afghanistan (TTA), including physical raids and hostile fire targeting Pakistan positions along the Pak-Afghan border, the Pakistan security forces launched a decisive and proportionate counter-operation. During operations in the Zhob sector, Pakistan’s security forces successfully secured approximately 32 square kilometers of territory along the border, identified as the Ghudwana Enclave, which had been used as a staging ground for TTA incursions.
