Intelligence-Based Operation in Pishin: 5 Khawarij Eliminated in High-Stakes Clash: ISPR

In a bold and meticulously planned intelligence-based operation in Pishin District, Pakistan’s security forces successfully neutralized five Khawarij, identified as being supported by foreign actors, following actionable intelligence. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation targeted a fully armed group actively planning violent acts in the area. Security forces engaged the cell with precision, effectively dismantling the threat while minimizing civilian risk. During the encounter, one Fitna-al-Khawarij detonated a suicide device, which was swiftly contained, and four additional foreign-backed elements were eliminated.

A substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosive material was recovered from the group. ISPR sources confirmed that these Fitna-al-Khawarij were involved in multiple operations threatening both civilians and security personnel in the region.

The Pakistan Army emphasized that clearance operations will continue until all foreign-backed Fitna-al-Khawarij are removed from the area. “Our forces remain vigilant and resolute to ensure that external actors cannot use Pakistani territory to harm innocent lives,” the ISPR statement said.

This operation is part of the nationwide counter-terrorism campaign under the Federal Apex Committee-approved National Action Plan, conducted within the framework of Vision Azm-e-Istiqamat. Pakistani security forces and law enforcement agencies continue to pursue all avenues to eliminate the menace of externally supported Fitna-al-Khawarij and ensure lasting peace and security.

The Government of Pakistan and its security institutions reaffirm their commitment to protecting the nation’s sovereignty and the safety of its citizens, while decisively confronting Fitna-al-Khawarij wherever they emerge.
