The Security Forces of Balochistan, in coordination with the provincial government and under the guidance of Chief Minister’s brother, Mir Aftab Bugti, have achieved a significant milestone in maintaining law and order and restoring peace across the province.
During recent operations, Mirak Khan Chakrani, a known criminal figure with a history of armed robbery, extortion, and involvement in violent activities, voluntarily surrendered to the authorities along with 25 of his associates, laying down their arms and handing over a substantial cache of weapons and ammunition.
As part of the surrender, Mirak Khan Chakrani also announced his group’s integration into the Chakrani Peace Force, a provincial initiative aimed at promoting community security and supporting the state in countering extremist and criminal elements. This step reflects the effectiveness of the strategic approach adopted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitnah, which seeks to encourage disarmament and reintegration of criminals and extremists while strengthening provincial security.
Security authorities confirmed that the surrender and disarmament of Mirak Khan Chakrani’s group represent a major success in the ongoing campaign against terrorism, criminal networks, and other anti-state activities in Balochistan. The operation demonstrates the commitment of provincial authorities and Security Forces to ensuring peace, stability, and governance across all districts.
Officials further stated that the strategic and methodical implementation of Operation Radd-ul-Fitnah is expected to encourage other extremist and criminal groups operating in the province to follow suit and surrender to the state, thereby contributing to the restoration of lasting law and order.
Authorities emphasized that the successful surrender and disarmament efforts highlight the professionalism, determination, and strategic planning of Balochistan’s Security Forces.
