Security forces have successfully thwarted a major terrorist threat in Balochistan following credible intelligence indicating coordinated militant activity across the province by Fitna Al Hindustan–linked terrorists. In response to the emerging threat, security forces were placed on high operational alert and proactive measures were initiated to prevent any potential attacks against critical installations and public officials.
As part of these efforts, an intelligence-led ambush was conducted in the Zehri area, in the vicinity of the Chief Minister’s camp office. During the operation, security personnel detected the movement of four terrorists attempting to advance toward the secured location. The militants were immediately engaged.
Following a swift and decisive exchange, all four terrorists were neutralized. During the operation, one attacker detonated himself, confirming the presence of a suicide bomber and underscoring the seriousness of the threat that was successfully averted.
Security sources confirm that the operation prevented a potentially devastating terrorist incident and reflects the effectiveness of timely intelligence coordination and rapid response by the security forces.
Operations remain ongoing across relevant areas to eliminate any remaining threats, dismantle terrorist networks, and ensure the safety and security of the population. The terrorist neutralization count continues to rise as security forces maintain pressure on hostile elements operating in the region.
Security forces reaffirm their unwavering commitment to safeguarding Balochistan and will continue intelligence-based operations against all terrorist groups seeking to undermine peace, stability, and national security.
