A chilling act of violence in Tank has once again laid bare the true nature of Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP). In a calculated and cowardly attack, terrorists targeted a police vehicle with an improvised explosive device (IED), brutally martyred dedicated police personnel. What followed was even more horrifying: the deliberate desecration of the bodies of the fallen officers, a barbaric act that defies every moral, religious, and human value.
This single incident has stripped away any remaining illusions. Fitna al-Khawarij stand fully exposed—not as champions of any cause, but as ruthless extremists driven by hatred and cruelty. For those who continue to sympathize with them, oppose decisive operations against them, facilitate their networks, or attempt to rationalize their crimes, this tragedy is a stark and undeniable wake-up call.
The martyrs of Tank were not just targets of terror; they were protectors of peace, standing between violent extremism and innocent citizens. Their sacrifice underscores a harsh reality: our police officers are performing their duties under extraordinarily dangerous conditions. Despite facing persistent IED threats, they continue to operate without adequate bulletproof vehicles, without effective IED jammers, and without the essential resources required to ensure their safety.
This raises grave and unavoidable questions for the provincial government. Courage alone cannot substitute for protection. Valor cannot replace responsibility. The men on the front lines deserve more than praise after tragedy strikes they deserve preventive action before another life is lost.
Respect for our martyrs must go beyond statements and ceremonies. It must translate into concrete, immediate measures to equip and protect those who risk everything to safeguard our communities. Anything less is a disservice to their sacrifice and a failure of our collective duty.
The blood of our fallen officers demands accountability, resolve, and action—now, not later.
