In a significant security operation, three Federal Constabulary (FC) personnel abducted by terrorists in Tank district have been safely recovered, highlighting the critical role of local leaders and community cooperation in countering extremist activities.
According to official sources, the rescued personnel include:
Sepoy Muhammad Salam, FC Hangu, Platoon 557, of the Qomi Miani tribe, abducted on October 24, 2025, from Kot Murtaza, Tank district by terrorists.
Sepoy Ashfaq, FC Swat, Platoon 21, of the Betani tribe, abducted on September 19, 2025, from Kot Wali, Tank district by terrorists.
Subedar Rehmatullah, FC Balochistan, from Tatour village, also previously abducted by unidentified terrorist elements.
The release of these personnel was made possible through mediation and coordination by local community leaders, particularly Maulvi Naqeeb and Haji Muhammad Amin Betani, who played key roles in negotiating the safe recovery.
Security officials emphasized that these abductions are part of a broader pattern of terrorist activities targeting law enforcement personnel in the region. The operation underscores the importance of collaboration between local communities and security forces in countering terrorist threats.
The successful recovery sends a strong message that terrorist attempts to abduct and intimidate security personnel will not succeed. Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing operations against terrorist elements and ensuring the safety of FC personnel in volatile areas, while urging local communities to remain vigilant and support peace and security initiatives.
