ISPR: Two Khwarij, Including Ring Leader Dilawar, Killed in DI Khan IBO

Security forces killed two Khwarij, including their ring leader Dilawar, during an intelligence based operation carried out in the general area of Kulachi in Dera Ismail Khan district on December 24, 2025, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

According to ISPR, the operation was launched on confirmed intelligence regarding the presence of Khwarij in the area. During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the militant hideout, resulting in the killing of two Khwarij.

The slain ring leader, identified as Dilawar, was highly wanted by law enforcement agencies for his involvement in multiple terrorist activities. The government had announced head money of Rs 4 million for his arrest.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed Khwarij, who had remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and in the killing of innocent civilians.

ISPR said sanitisation operations were underway to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji present in the area.

It added that the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, would continue at full pace as security forces and law enforcement agencies remain determined to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
