23 Indian-Backed Khawarij Eliminated in Bajaur & Bannu Operations: ISPR

On 16 and 17 November 2025, twenty three Khawarij linked to the Indian-backed Terrorist network, Fitna al-Khawarij, were killed in two separate engagements across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

Acting on confirmed reports of militant presence, Security Forces conducted an intelligence based operation in Bajaur District. During the engagement, troops effectively targeted the Khawarij hideout, sending eleven militants, including their ring leader Sajjad, also known as Abuzar, to hell.

In a second intelligence based operation in Bannu District, Security Forces successfully neutralised another twelve Khawarij.

Sanitization operations are underway to ensure no Indian sponsored militant remains in the area. The relentless counter terrorism campaign under the vision Azm e Istehkam, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, continues at full pace as Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies work to eradicate the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from Pakistan.
