In a targeted operation by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Balochistan’s Sibi district, five militants, affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan (BLA), were killed in an intense gunfight. According to police reports, the CTD personnel, acting on a tip-off, arrived at the militants’ location, prompting a retaliatory attack from the insurgents.
The CTD swiftly responded with heavy fire, neutralizing the threat and killing five militants on the spot. Authorities also recovered weapons and ammunition from the scene. The bodies of the deceased militants were subsequently transferred to a nearby hospital for further processing.
The operation highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies in combating terrorism and securing the region from militant groups.
