Federal Minister for Interior, Mohsin Naqvi, has made it unequivocally clear that terrorists acting as agents of ‘Fitna-e-Hindustan’ (the Indian-backed militant threat) are enemies of Pakistan’s unity and peace. He stated that ongoing operations against these barbaric elements will continue with full force until their complete elimination.
Speaking during a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi in Lahore, the Interior Minister reaffirmed the government’s unwavering resolve to wipe out Indian-supported terrorist networks operating within Pakistan. He said, “We will not rest until we eliminate Fitna-e-Hindustan from Pakistani soil. The sinister ambitions of Indian-sponsored militants will not succeed.”
The two leaders engaged in a detailed discussion on the prevailing security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), recent terrorist incidents, and the overall law and order landscape in the province. They also reviewed ongoing counter-terrorism operations in various KP districts, including targeted actions against the outlawed militant group often referred to as “Fitna-e-Khawarij.”
Governor Kundi emphasized that intelligence-based operations (IBOs) are critical to dismantling terror networks. He remarked that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are advocates of peace, and sustained security is essential for the province’s progress and prosperity.
Both leaders paid glowing tribute to the security forces for their successful operations against terrorist outfits and reiterated that the fight against terrorism is a national duty that demands continued unity and determination.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded the courage and resilience of the people of KP and Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies, acknowledging their sacrifices and bravery in the face of terrorist threats. He assured that the federal government is extending full support to KP in maintaining law and order and intensifying the fight against terrorism. “Pakistan’s resolve to establish lasting peace remains unshaken. We are united in the mission to protect every inch of our soil and ensure the safety of every citizen,” the Minister concluded.
