Khawarij, Indian Sponsored Terrorism, Infiltration Attempt Foiled, Balochistan, Afghan Border

In a major blow to Indian-sponsored militancy, Pakistan’s security forces foiled an infiltration attempt by a large group of Khawarij from across the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Sambaza area of Balochistan’s Zhob district during the night of August 7 and 8.

According to security sources, the militants belonged to the Indian proxy outfit Fitna al-Khawarij and were attempting to illegally cross into Pakistani territory. Swift detection by security forces led to a precise and decisive engagement that left 33 militants dead.

The operation was marked by bold and skilful action by Pakistani troops, who not only neutralized the threat but also recovered a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the site.

A sanitization operation is currently underway in the surrounding areas to ensure that no remaining militant elements are present.

The armed forces of Pakistan remain steadfast in their resolve to protect the nation’s borders and uproot Indian-backed terrorism from its soil.
