A Frontier Constabulary (FC) check post in Takhti Khel came under a quadcopter-borne explosive attack by the Khawarij late Thursday night, leaving one soldier martyred and three others injured. Police and security officials said the quadcopter, believed to have been rigged with explosives, struck the FC post, instantly claiming the life of Sepoy Minakhyan. The injured were identified as Lance Naik Syedullah Jan, Noor Muhammad, and Noora Din.

In the immediate aftermath, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. The injured personnel were moved to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment. Officials paid tribute to Sepoy Minakhyan’s sacrifice, calling it a powerful reminder of the unflinching resolve of Pakistan’s forces to defend the motherland. They said the attack once again exposed the cowardly tactics of the Khawarij and underscored the daily risks borne by soldiers standing guard over the nation.
