In a successful intelligence-based operation, security forces eliminated three terrorists belonging to the banned group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), or Fitna al-Khawarij as declared by the state, in Karachi, including a high-value target with a bounty on his head.
Among those neutralized was Ghufran, a key figure within the group, who carried a bounty of Rs. 20 million and was wanted for his involvement in major crimes, including the targeted killing of Chinese nationals in Pakistan.
Security sources confirmed that the operation was conducted based on credible intelligence, and that no casualties were reported among the security personnel involved.
Officials hailed the operation as a significant blow to the militant network’s urban presence, stating that justice has been delivered through the brave and timely action of Pakistan’s security forces.
