Karak Police, CTD Launch Major Operation Against Khawarij Commanders; Hideouts Torched, Network Disrupted

In a powerful show of force, Karak Police backed by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) launched a large-scale intelligence-based operation against a key Khawarij network operating in the Shah Saleem police jurisdiction, targeting the local commander Sanaullah Jalali and his associate Attaullah.

According to District Police Officer (DPO) Shahbaz Elahi, the operation was carried out on confirmed intelligence. Though the Khawarij commanders managed to flee moments before the raid, security forces stormed and destroyed their residences and multiple fortified hideouts, setting them ablaze to prevent future use.

“These criminals were directly involved in the martyrdom of police constable Saeed. Let there be no doubt we will hunt them down and bring every last one of them to justice,” said DPO Shahbaz Elahi in a strong statement.

The joint operation, conducted with overwhelming police and CTD deployment, not only dismantled the enemy’s infrastructure but also severed critical supply lines sustaining their activities in the region. “Their so-called safe havens have been turned to ashes, and their logistical backbone has been shattered. This is just the beginning,” added DPO Shahbaz Elahi.

He reaffirmed that the police will continue relentless actions until every anti-peace element is uprooted from Karak district. “We are committed to restoring lasting peace. The Khawarij and their facilitators will find no shelter, no escape. The campaign will continue until the region is completely purged of these enemies of the people,” he declared.
