Pakistan has launched a high-intensity, intelligence-driven military campaign named Operation Pehrud Cleanser targeting the India-backed terrorist group Fitna al-Hindustan (BLA) in Balochistan. This marks the beginning of a phased and targeted offensive aimed at dismantling the terrorist network responsible for recent attacks on civilians, public transport, and members of the arts community.

Backed by real-time intelligence and advanced surveillance, the operation features coordinated ground and aerial strikes by the Special Services Group (SSG), Army Aviation, and Counter-Terror Units. In its initial wave, several militant command and control centres, weapons depots, and communication hubs hidden in mountainous terrain and border zones have been destroyed.

Authorities have stated that Operation Pehrud Cleanser is a firm declaration of the state’s zero-tolerance stance against any elements undermining Balochistan’s peace and security. Future phases of the operation will expand intelligence efforts to target the terrorists’ financial systems, media outreach, and digital infrastructure, aiming to fully dismantle the group’s hybrid warfare capabilities.

Security analysts view this operation as one of the most comprehensive counter-terror operations launched in the region in recent years.
