Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military), undertook a significant visit to Muzaffarabad, where he engaged in an in-depth and spirited dialogue with the civil society of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the Kashmir cause.
The visit featured a candid and comprehensive question-and-answer session between the DG ISPR and civil society representatives, addressing matters of national security, regional developments, and the historic and inseparable relationship between Pakistan and Kashmir.
Participants passionately reaffirmed that Kashmir is, was, and will forever remain the jugular vein of Pakistan, stating that no global force could sever the deep-rooted bond between the Kashmiri people and Pakistan. Emotions ran high as the gathering echoed with slogans of “Kashmir banay ga Pakistan,” and a unified message of unshakable solidarity was delivered.
In a powerful display of affection and cultural reverence, members of the Kashmiri civil society presented Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry with traditional Kashmiri attire. The gesture symbolised their heartfelt gratitude to the Pakistan Army for its resolute defence of Kashmir’s dignity and its robust response to Indian hostilities.
Participants waved the national and Kashmiri flags, declaring that the people of Kashmir have always stood shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan and will continue to do so until the dream of a free and united Kashmir is realised.
The visit underscored the deep trust and mutual respect between the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the Pakistan Armed Forces, reinforcing the message that the struggle for Kashmir’s future remains a shared national aspiration.
