PAF, PLAAF Chiefs Vow to Deepen Strategic Air Power Alliance Amid Regional Challenges

In a high-level meeting held at Air Headquarters, Islamabad, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu and Chief of Staff of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF), General Wang Gang, reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral air power collaboration, regional security, and strategic coordination. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two sides held detailed discussions on evolving regional dynamics, enhanced interoperability, and expanding cooperation in key areas including training, technology, and joint operations.

Air Chief Marshal Sidhu warmly welcomed General Wang and lauded the deep-rooted strategic partnership between Pakistan and China. He underscored the significance of continued defence collaboration in preserving regional stability and advancing shared goals.

General Wang was given a comprehensive briefing on PAF’s cutting-edge capabilities and evolving operational doctrine. He commended the Pakistan Air Force for its exceptional operational preparedness and mastery in multi-domain operations.

In a strong show of solidarity, General Wang praised the PAF’s recent performance during its encounter with Indian forces, describing the response as a benchmark of “courage, discipline, and precision.”

Both sides reaffirmed their resolve to further deepen military-to-military ties, positioning the Pakistan-China air forces as pivotal players in promoting regional deterrence and strategic balance.
