The Khawarij have once again exposed their true face, not as warriors, but as the enemies of peace, progress, and the very people they falsely claim to represent.
On Wednesday, terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij detonated explosives targeting the main gas pipeline from the Bettani Gas Field in Lakki Marwat, damaging critical infrastructure near the Torwah ‘Nala’ (stream). This cowardly attack led to the waste of valuable national resources and was a direct blow to local development.
Such actions are not new. For years, the Khawarij have deliberately sabotaged efforts to uplift Pashtun areas, attempting to trap them in a vicious cycle of poverty, instability, and isolation.
What they attack is not just steel pipelines, they strike at hospitals that could be built, schools that never open, roads left unfinished, and factories that never arrive. Natural gas infrastructure is more than an economic lifeline; it is a bridge connecting neglected regions to opportunity, investment, and dignity.
By blowing up that bridge, the Khawarij send a clear message: they fear a peaceful, educated, and prosperous Pashtun belt more than any military campaign.
It is time for the Pashtun people, alongside state institutions, to stand united, not just to condemn these terrorists, but to confront them with their real identity: enemies of Islam, enemies of Pakistan, and enemies of the very soil they infect. Those who do not repent must be shown their rightful place, in the dustbin of history or the depths of hell.
Only then can the land be cleared of the last hidden mines, and the road to peace and prosperity laid down without fear.
