In a successful intelligence-based joint operation, the Frontier Corps (FC) and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) eliminated three key terrorists affiliated with the Indian-backed Baloch Republican Army (BRA) in the Pyara Colony area of Sui, Dera Bugti.

The operation turned deadly when the terrorists launched grenade attacks and opened fire on the security personnel. In the ensuing brief but intense exchange of gunfire, all three terrorists were shot dead on the spot.

The slain terrorists were identified as:

1. Zahid, son of Usman Karmazai

2. Yousaf, son of Shah Nawaz Marhatta

3. Ali Baig, son of Pahi Marhatta

According to security officials, the terrorists killed were involved in multiple acts of terrorism, including grenade attacks, targeted killings, and extortion across Dera Bugti. They were also prime suspects in the assassination of prominent social figure Babu Ghani.

The operation marks a significant blow to the BRA’s local network, as authorities confirmed the terrorists were actively working under BRA commanders to destabilise the region.

Security forces have launched further search operations to apprehend remaining facilitators and operatives. Officials reiterated their commitment to restoring peace in Balochistan and pledged to continue counter-terrorism efforts without pause.
