The Chief of Army Staff and newly appointed Field Marshal, Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), presided over the 270th Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC) at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, where the top military leadership reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to counter terrorism, defend its sovereignty, and uphold regional peace in the face of growing Indian hostility and covert proxy warfare.

The high-level forum commenced with Fateha for the martyrs of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos and the victims of the heinous school bus attack in Khuzdar, which claimed the lives of four innocent children and two adults. This atrocity, attributed to Indian-sponsored terrorist proxies, was condemned in the strongest possible terms. The forum labelled it a “barbaric and deliberate targeting of non-combatants,” especially children—an act in direct violation of international norms and humanity.

Reaffirming National Resolve and Strategic Depth

The forum paid solemn tribute to all martyrs of Marka-e-Haq, who laid down their lives in defence of the homeland during India’s unprovoked aggression. The Army leadership reiterated that the “sacred blood of the Shuhada will not go in vain” and that ensuring the safety and security of Pakistani citizens remains the highest priority.

In a major moment of national significance, the commanders extended formal felicitations to General Asim Munir on his historic conferment as Field Marshal, recognising his “strategic foresight, resolute leadership, and enduring contributions” to national defence and military excellence.

Operation Bunyanum Marsoos: A Defining Chapter in Pakistan’s Military Doctrine

A comprehensive review of the current internal and external security environment was undertaken, particularly celebrating the successful conclusion of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos. The forum lauded the exceptional professionalism, courage, and operational synergy of Pakistan’s Armed Forces, which, along with the steadfast support of the people, decisively repelled aggression with surgical precision.

The Army leadership also acknowledged the instrumental role of Pakistan’s media and information warriors who exposed Indian propaganda, countered disinformation, and built public confidence in the national narrative during critical times.

Equally praised were the dynamic contributions of the Pakistani youth, whose patriotic energy helped project a unified and resilient national spirit.

A Stark Warning to India and Its Proxies

In a pointed and unambiguous message, the forum observed that India, frustrated by its military failures, had intensified the use of non-state actors and terror proxies in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to pursue its destabilisation agenda. The forum branded India not only a self-styled victim of terrorism but in reality, the “epicentre of regional instability.”

The Corps Commanders issued a resolute warning:

“No one can coerce Pakistan through the use or threat of force. The nation will take all measures necessary to safeguard its vital interests.”

The forum pledged zero tolerance for externally sponsored terrorism, vowing that the Pakistan Armed Forces—alongside intelligence and law enforcement agencies—will hunt down all hostile proxies and facilitators with full national force. These enemies of peace, trained and funded to create chaos, will be “dismantled and decimated” through coordinated and relentless action.

Regional Outlook and Kashmir Solidarity

The forum also conducted a strategic review of the regional security landscape, including Pakistan’s eastern borders, the Line of Control (LoC), and the Working Boundary, particularly in light of the recent flare-up with India. Deep concern was expressed over India’s ongoing human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), which the forum said fuels resentment and cycles of resistance.

The commanders reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering diplomatic, moral, and political support for the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for self-determination and called on the international community to take urgent notice of the worsening humanitarian crisis in the region.

A National Commitment to Vigilance and Defence

Field Marshal Asim Munir commended the exceptional morale, operational readiness, and discipline of all military formations and underscored the need for sustained vigilance. He emphasized the divine blessings of Almighty Allah in guiding national efforts and urged commanders to remain alert to evolving threats across all domains.

Concluding the conference, Field Marshal Munir expressed full confidence in the defensive strength, strategic clarity, and unwavering will of the Pakistan Armed Forces, stating:

“The people of Pakistan are our greatest strength. We remain committed to their trust and expectations in our shared struggle against any foreign aggression, terrorism, and extremism.”

The 270th Corps Commanders’ Conference concluded with a powerful message of unity, deterrence, and an unshakeable resolve to confront all threats—external and internal—on the strength of national will, military precision, and faith.
