A tragic incident unfolded in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan, where unknown armed assailants launched a deadly attack on a Levies check-post located on the strategic China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route in the Nall area.
According to Levies sources, the attack took place at the Samand check-post, where unidentified gunmen opened indiscriminate fire, resulting in the martyrdom of four Levies personnel. The sudden and intense nature of the assault left little to no time for the security personnel to retaliate.

Following the incident, law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down the perpetrators. The bodies of the martyred personnel were shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Security officials have begun an investigation and are exploring all possible angles, including the motives and identities of the attackers.
