In continuation of the government’s repatriation efforts, a total of 826 Afghan nationals were formally repatriated to Afghanistan through the Hamza Baba Transit Camp in Landikotal on Saturday, under the supervision of relevant civil and security authorities.
Official figures indicated that 157 families comprising 157 men, 146 women, and 523 children were processed for return. Of these, 62 families—registered under the Afghan Citizen Card (ACC) framework—accounted for 330 individuals. No movement was recorded under the Proof of Registration (POR) category on the day.
Additionally, 95 undocumented families, categorized as illegal residents, were repatriated. This group comprised 496 individuals, including 95 men, 88 women, and 313 children.
From Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 28 ACC-registered families consisting of 155 individuals and 24 undocumented families totaling 128 individuals were among those repatriated.
The repatriation operation was conducted in a coordinated and orderly manner through the Focal Information Point (FIP), ensuring all protocols and verification procedures were duly observed.
