Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has condemned the Khuzdar attack as a cowardly act, vowing that Pakistan will not rest until the complete elimination of what he termed as “Fitna-e-Hindustan”—a reference to terrorist activities allegedly backed by India—particularly in Balochistan.
Speaking to media on Thursday, the minister stated that the nation continues to face an organized wave of terrorism, which he described as orchestrated by foreign elements. “The attack in Khuzdar was a shameful and cowardly act. Our nation is unique in the world—its children lay down their lives and their sacrifices are written in golden letters,” Tarar said.
He revealed that the group behind the recent incidents in Balochistan has been designated as “Fitna-e-Hindustan”, adding that these elements had been actively operating in the region but have now been cornered due to a year-long security crackdown. “Following our successful operations over the past year, these terrorists are now shifting from hard targets to soft ones,” he said.
Referring to the recent incident involving the Jaffer Express, Tarar noted that security forces handled the situation with exceptional expertise and coordination. “The nation has achieved significant milestones in the last year, and our forces remain fully engaged in ensuring security.”
He emphasized that the ongoing wave of violence is not a new phenomenon and that Pakistan’s security forces are fully prepared and active in confronting it. “This incident has only strengthened our resolve. We will not rest until we have rooted out the menace of Fitna-e-Hindustan from our soil,” he affirmed.
