Security forces dealt a decisive blow to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Sunday by eliminating two Khawarij militants in a precision strike in the Khushali Wazir area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan. According to credible security sources, the movement of TTP elements was intercepted and engaged with 60 mm mortars. The timely and targeted action led to the elimination of two notorious Khawarij identified as Zain Ullah alias Lambay and Abuzar Afghani, both associated with the TTP’s Haider Group.
The slain militants were involved in a series of subversive activities aimed at destabilizing the region and targeting security forces. Their neutralization marks a significant success in the ongoing efforts to dismantle the TTP’s network in the tribal districts.
The operation is part of a broader strategy to restore lasting peace and stability in the region through intelligence-based operations and community engagement.
