Police and security forces on Tuesday killed two terrorists, including a commander, and arrested two others in an injured condition during a gunfight in the Nasran village of Tank district.
According to police, the exchange of fire took place during a joint operation against suspected militants. Commander Kashif and another militant identified as Sohail were killed in the encounter, while two others were captured after being wounded.
Sources said the same militant group was involved in the killing of police constable Sajjad a day earlier. Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to ensure the area is cleared.
