Two More Armed Forces Personnel Embrace Shahadat, Toll Rises to 13 in Wake of Indian Aggression: ISPR

The Pakistan Armed Forces today confirmed that two more valiant soldiers, critically wounded during the Indian military’s unprovoked and cowardly aggression on the night of May 6-7, have embraced shahadat, raising the number of martyred personnel to 13. The brutal assault, which deliberately targeted innocent civilians—including women, children, and the elderly—also left 78 uniformed personnel injured while defending the motherland with unmatched courage.

The latest martyrs, Havaldar Muhammad Naveed Shaheed of the Pakistan Army and Senior Technician Muhammad Ayaz Shaheed of the Pakistan Air Force, stood resolute in the face of indiscriminate hostility. Their noble sacrifice reflects the highest ideals of duty, honour, and unwavering patriotism that define the defenders of Pakistan.

In a statement issued today, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) paid glowing tribute to the fallen heroes, stating, “These brave sons of the soil laid down their lives so that future generations may live in peace and dignity. Their sacrifice shall remain a guiding flame in the nation’s collective consciousness.”

The Pakistan Armed Forces, standing shoulder to shoulder with the people of Pakistan, extend heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and offer earnest prayers for the swift and full recovery of the injured.

As the nation mourns its martyrs, their blood fortifies the resolve of a country that will never bow to aggression. Their memory will forever echo in the hearts of a grateful nation.
