Two Khawarij Neutralized in Lakki Marwat’s Masti Khani During IB Operation

Security forces delivered another setback to the Khawarij network when a joint intelligence-based operation by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and local police successfully eliminated two armed Khawarij in the Masti Khani area of Lakki Marwat district.

Acting on precise reports, security teams swiftly cordoned off the locality, preventing any escape routes and ensuring the safety of nearby residents. During the search and clearance, two unidentified Khawarij were smoked out after a brief exchange of fire.

The operation was executed with precision, reflecting the growing synergy between CTD, police, and other security agencies in dismantling Khawarij cells across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the site, which have been secured for forensic analysis.

The successful action reinforces the resolve of Pakistan’s security apparatus to eradicate Khawarij from every district and prevent them from exploiting local communities for shelter. Authorities emphasized that such operations will continue until the last remnants of the Khawarij menace are uprooted from the region.

The people of Lakki Marwat, who have endured repeated attempts by Khawarij to destabilize their peace, have expressed confidence in the vigilance and commitment of the security forces. With each targeted strike, the operational space for Khawarij continues to shrink, underscoring Pakistan’s uncompromising stance against these enemies of peace.
