In a swift intelligence-driven operation, security forces eliminated two Khawarij linked to the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Pai village of Tank district, delivering a decisive blow to the militant network in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Acting on credible intelligence, the forces launched the operation. As troops moved in, the Khawarij opened fire, triggering an intense exchange. Two were gunned down on the spot, while several others were reportedly injured in the clash.
Weapons recovered from the scene included two submachine guns (SMGs), a motorcycle, and other arms and logistical supplies, indicating the group’s active operational presence in the area. The successful strike is part of ongoing nationwide efforts to dismantle TTP-linked Khawarij cells and restore lasting peace across the region.
