Tribal Elders’ Jirga Held in Miranshah to Discuss Security and Development in Jani Khel

A significant jirga of tribal elders and notables from Jani Khel and surrounding areas was held in Miranshah under the supervision of the Pakistan Army and the district administration. The General Officer Commanding (GOC) Miranshah welcomed the participants and commended the vital role of tribal elders in maintaining peace and stability in the region.

During the jirga, detailed discussions were held on the security situation in Jani Khel and adjacent areas, counterterrorism measures, and ongoing welfare initiatives. Tribal leaders presented their proposals regarding peace and security and reaffirmed their full support and cooperation with state institutions.

Addressing the gathering, the GOC noted that with the continued cooperation of the local populace, the journey toward peace and development in the region is progressing successfully. The jirga concluded with prayers for national unity, peace, and prosperity.
