A significant jirga was convened between local elders of the Supalgah village and the brigade commander at Banda Fort in Miranshah, North Waziristan, aimed at strengthening peace and improving the overall security landscape of the region.
Around 11 tribal elders participated in the jirga, where both sides engaged in detailed discussions on the prevailing security situation and the role of local leadership in maintaining long-term peace. It was mutually agreed that joint efforts would be made to curb the activities of miscreants, eliminate extremist elements, and ensure such elements are kept away from civilian populations.
The jirga participants also emphasized enhancing coordination to address public grievances and improve existing security arrangements.
