Tirah Valley Drone Attack Rumors Dispelled: Armed Forces Protect Sacred Places, Not Bomb Them

A false and coordinated campaign is currently circulating on social media, alleging that Pakistan and its armed forces conducted a drone strike on a mosque in Tirah Valley. These claims are entirely baseless and intended to mislead the public.

The injured brought to Hayatabad Medical Complex sustained only minor injuries, and none are in critical condition. Hospital authorities have confirmed that there was no drone attack.

Available evidence indicates that the incident arose from a personal enmity, now being exploited to create distrust between the public, particularly the tribesmen, and the armed forces.

Pakistan’s armed forces have always acted as protectors and avengers of sacred places, including mosques, churches, and other religious and community sites. It is not the state but spineless terrorists who target places of worship, schools, hospitals, and other civilian institutions.

The state is fully aware of the forces behind these conspiracies and false claims and remains resolute in eliminating these elements, with the support of the nation and the tribesmen. Pakistan stands united behind its armed forces in this ongoing war against terror.
