Three Workers Abducted in Armed Attack on Crush Plant in Balochistan’s Bolan District

Three laborers working at a crush plant in the Bolan district of Balochistan were abducted after unidentified armed individuals forcibly took them from their workplace, according to local police officials. The incident has raised fresh concerns over the security of workers and industrial sites in the region.

Police stated that the abduction occurred within the jurisdiction of Machh Police Station, where the assailants arrived at the crush plant and, at gunpoint, seized three workers before fleeing the area. The identities of the abductors and their motives remain unknown at this stage.

Upon receiving information about the incident, a heavy contingent of police was immediately dispatched to the site. Security forces secured the area and initiated a comprehensive response, including the registration of a formal case and the launch of a search operation to locate the kidnapped workers and apprehend those responsible.

Authorities confirmed that multiple search teams have been deployed across surrounding areas, with checkpoints established to prevent the movement of suspects. Law enforcement agencies are also gathering evidence from the site and recording statements from witnesses as part of the ongoing investigation.

Police officials emphasized that efforts are underway to ensure the safe recovery of the abducted workers and to bring the perpetrators to justice. They added that maintaining law and order and protecting civilians remain top priorities, particularly in remote and industrial zones where workers may be vulnerable to criminal or militant activity.

The incident underscores persistent security challenges in parts of Balochistan and highlights the need for continued vigilance and coordinated law enforcement measures to safeguard workers and economic activity in the province.
