Three Wanted Terrorists Killed in Major Intelligence-Based Operation in Kohat

In a significant counterterrorism achievement, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Police killed three wanted and active terrorists during a precise intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in the jurisdiction of MRS Police Station, Kohat. The operation was launched on the basis of credible and verified intelligence.

According to officials, the security forces came under heavy fire during the raid, prompting an intense exchange of gunfire. All three terrorists were neutralised in the encounter. The slain militants have been identified as Muhammad Qasim son of Khana Jan, resident of Dak; Shahmad son of Mashal Khan, resident of Dak; and Sahir alias Paata son of Naseem, resident of Tor Chappar, Darra Adamkhel.

All three terrorists were active members of the Saad alias Shah Gul Tashkeel, a militant network operating out of Darra Adamkhel. They were wanted in the murder case of Constable Younas, registered as FIR No. 49 dated 17-09-2025 in Darra Adamkhel, District Kohat, under sections 302, 324, 148, 149, and 7 ATA.

Additionally, terrorist Sahir alias Paata was also nominated in FIR No. 54 dated 06-10-2025, related to the attack on the Tor Chappar Post, during which the brave Constable Hazrat Umar embraced martyrdom. The case carried sections 302, 324, 353, 427, 3/4 Explosives Act, 7 ATA, and 148/149.

Security forces reiterated their unwavering resolve to pursue militant elements without discrimination, reaffirming that operations will continue until complete peace and stability are secured across the region.
