Three TTP-Linked Khawarij Eliminated in Bajaur

In a successful intelligence-based operation, security forces eliminated three Khawarij affiliated with the proscribed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Bajaur district, while four others sustained injuries during the targeted action.

According to official sources, the operation was launched based on credible intelligence regarding the presence of TTP-linked Khawarij in the area. During the exchange of fire, three hardcore operatives were neutralized, and four others were critically wounded.

Among the injured are the notorious local commander Ilyas, also known by the alias Malang Bacha, and one of his close aides. Both have long been involved in orchestrating attacks against security forces and innocent civilians in the region.

The security forces reiterated their resolve to eliminate the remnants of Khawarij elements and ensure lasting peace in the region. The local population has lauded the operation and reaffirmed its support for the ongoing efforts to root out extremism.
