Three Soldiers Martyred in IED Attack on Security Convoy Near Kirdgap

In the evening today, a devastating improvised explosive device (IED) attack targeted a patrolling convoy of the Counter-Terrorism Unit near Kirdgap City, resulting in the martyrdom of three brave soldiers, including an officer.

According to security sources, the IED struck a bulletproof vehicle carrying Major Rizwan, who was leading the patrol from Kirdgap Post toward the city. The powerful blast led to the martyrdom of:

Naik Ameen

Lance Naik Younas

Three others sustained injuries in the attack, two of them reported to be in serious condition:

Sepoy Hassan (serious)

Sepoy Hamid (serious)

Lance Naik Fazal (conscious)

Following the incident, Major Akash along with a medical team moved swiftly from Panjpai X to the site to assist and evacuate the casualties. Arrangements have been made for the injured and the martyrs to be shifted to HQNM Nushki, with a helicopter evacuation request submitted for further transfer to Quetta.

Additionally, Captain Osama has been deployed from Galangur for sanitization of the blast site and surrounding areas, ensuring no further threat to responding personnel or civilians.

Authorities have condemned the attack and reaffirmed their resolve to continue the fight against terrorism until full peace is restored.
