Indian-backed terrorists launched a coordinated attack on the Atta Shaheed Post, Balochistan, targeting the position from the north and west using small arms and rockets. The assault began with heavy firing, which continued intermittently for a period.
Security sources confirm that the troops deployed at the post responded with retaliatory fire, effectively engaging the assailants and repelling the attack. Despite the swift and professional response, the incident resulted in casualties.
Naik Zahoor Ahmed, Naik Ghafoor Ahmed, and Lance Naik Wakeel Ahmed are among the martyred soldiers, while the injured persons include Naik Waris Bugti, Naik Irfan, Sepoy Altaf, and Sepoy Majeed.
The injured personnel have been evacuated to a nearby military medical facility for treatment, where their condition is reported to be stable.
