Three Banned BLA Members of Fitna-al-Hindustan Killed in CTD Operation in Barkhan

In a late-night intelligence-based operation, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) eliminated three members of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), identified as part of Fitna-al-Hindustan, during a targeted raid in Barkhan district, officials confirmed on Thursday.

According to a CTD spokesperson, the operation was conducted following credible intelligence about the presence of anti-state operatives linked to the BLA. Upon interception, an exchange of fire took place, resulting in the death of three individuals involved in violent subversion. Their accomplices managed to flee the scene; a search operation is currently underway to apprehend them.

The CTD recovered two sub-machine guns, a pistol, and two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) from the scene.

The bodies of the deceased were shifted to Civil Hospital Rakhni for identification, the spokesperson added.
