Three Afghan Militants Trapped as Army Launches Precision Operation at Cadet College Wana

Security forces continue a high-intensity operation against three Afghan militants holed up inside Cadet College Wana. At the time of the attack, approximately 650 people, including 525 cadets, were present at the college, of whom 115 have been safely rescued so far, according to security sources.

The militants have been contained within a specific building located at a considerable distance from the cadets’ residential quarters. Authorities emphasized that all cadets remain safe, and the operation is being carried out with extreme caution to ensure their protection. Evacuation of students from the college premises is ongoing in a controlled manner, with approximately 535 individuals still inside the campus.

The attack on the college occurred on November 10, when militants rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the main gate, completely destroying it and causing damage to nearby structures. In immediate response, Pakistan Army personnel engaged the attackers with bravery, killing two of them on the spot.

Security officials underscored that the militants’ actions have no connection with Islam or Pakistan’s prosperity and that targeting innocent tribal children is an act of sheer terror. The operation will continue until the militants are fully neutralized.
