A new heinous act by the India-backed terrorist organisation Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), which has been labelled as a subversive outfit by the state, has come to light. The group, referred to as Fitna-e-Hindustan (The Scourge of India), is reportedly masquerading as security forces to abduct innocent civilians, deepening the climate of fear and uncertainty in Balochistan.
According to local sources, BLA terrorists are donning security force uniforms and forcibly abducting innocent citizens, particularly young male and female students, from their homes or educational institutions. They falsely claim that these individuals have been “disappeared” by state forces and subjected to brutal treatment. Later, the BLA stages so-called “rescue operations” to falsely portray themselves as liberators.
Before these staged rescues, however, the abductees are reportedly subjected to inhumane treatment, including physical abuse, sexual violence, and degrading acts. It is alleged that they are raped and that the entire ordeal is filmed. These videos are then used to blackmail the victims into serving the group’s nefarious objectives.
Student Mahjabeen Baloch Abducted Near Civil Hospital Quetta
The latest incident involves the abduction of Mahjabeen, daughter of Ghulam Mustafa, a student of Library Science at Balochistan University and a resident of Basima town, Washuk district. She was abducted in broad daylight from outside the Civil Hospital in Quetta and taken to an unknown location.
Eyewitnesses reported that the abductors were dressed in full military uniform and were accompanied by individuals in plain clothes, who claimed to be from intelligence agencies.
Citizens and State Institutions Urged to Remain Vigilant
Security agencies have issued warnings, urging the public to immediately report suspicious individuals to nearby police stations or security forces, especially those in uniform whose behaviour or actions appear dubious.
Indian Sponsorship of BLA and Conspiracies in Balochistan
It is important to note that the BLA is a designated terrorist organisation backed by India’s intelligence agency, RAW. The group’s primary aim is to destabilise Balochistan, malign state institutions, and sabotage development projects such as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
BLA terrorists reportedly receive training in covert camps located in the border regions of Afghanistan and Iran, where they are also provided with financial, military, and technical support. Recent operations indicate a shift in the group’s strategy: by wearing official uniforms, they are now trying to undermine public trust in state forces.
Appeal to the Public and State Institutions
Security agencies appeal to the public to keep a close watch on fake officials and to promptly report any suspicious activity. Citizens of Balochistan are urged to recognize these India-backed elements and raise a unified voice against them.
