Terrorists Suffer Decade’s Worst Defeat Amid Successful Security Operations Across Pakistan

Swift and effective counterterrorism operations by Pakistan’s security forces have dealt terrorists their heaviest blow in a decade, as determined action, professional excellence, and unmatched sacrifices continue to thwart their nefarious designs across the country.

According to the latest report by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS), the month of October marked the most significant setback for terrorist groups in the past ten years. The report highlighted that Pakistan’s security forces broke the back of terrorist networks through sustained, intelligence-based operations in various regions.

The PICSS report noted a remarkable decline in terrorist activity, revealing that the number of attacks in September dropped by 52 percent compared to August. During October alone, 355 terrorists were eliminated, while 72 security personnel and 31 civilians embraced martyrdom. The institute’s militancy database further indicated a 19 percent overall reduction in casualties resulting from terrorist incidents in October.

The report underscored that the consistent and intelligence-driven actions of Pakistan’s security forces reflect their unwavering commitment to peace and stability, ensuring the continued defeat of terrorist ambitions across the nation.
