In a brazen act of terrorism, armed men looted the National Bank branch in Titterkhel area of Lakki Marwat, held the security guard hostage and later set the building on fire, officials confirmed.According to police, the terrorists stormed the branch, looted cash, and destroyed computers, CCTV cameras and other security equipment before torching the premises.
Rescue teams rushed to the site after the attackers fled and successfully extinguished the blaze, preventing it from spreading to nearby structures.Police cordoned off the area and launched a search and strike operation to track down the perpetrators. Forensic experts also collected evidence from the scene as investigations got underway.
Officials condemned the incident as an attempt by terrorists to spread fear and undermine stability in the district. They vowed that those responsible would be hunted down and brought to justice.
