Terrorists in Balochistan Are ‘Fitna-e-Hindustan’, Not Baloch: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir

Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, during a meeting with vice chancellors, principals, and senior faculty members of various universities, stated that teachers are Pakistan’s greatest asset, and the character-building of future generations lies in their hands.

He remarked, “Whatever I am today is due to my parents and teachers.” He further emphasized that teachers must pass on Pakistan’s story to future generations, to ensure that the spirit of patriotism and sacrifice remains alive.

While referencing the “Battle of Truth” (Marka-e-Haq), the Field Marshal said, “Allah Almighty has supported Pakistan in every way.” He noted that this battle proves that when an entire nation stands united like an iron wall, no power in the world can defeat it.

Regarding the Kashmir issue, he made it abundantly clear that no compromise is possible, stating, “We can never forget Kashmir. India must understand that Pakistan will never abandon Kashmir.” He added that India’s decades-long attempts to suppress Kashmir have failed—and are no longer viable.

On the critical issue of water, Field Marshal Munir declared it a red line for Pakistan, stating, “We will not allow any compromise on the basic rights of 240 million Pakistanis.” He asserted that Pakistan will never accept India’s water monopoly.

Commenting on terrorism, he said that it is an internal issue of India, rooted in its oppression and discrimination against minorities, especially Muslims. In contrast, Kashmir is an international issue, and it can no longer be ignored or suppressed.

He also underscored that the menace of terrorism in the region is, in fact, an Indian conspiracy, stressing that these terrorists have no connection to the Baloch people.

“The terrorists operating in Balochistan are not Baloch—they are ‘Fitna-e-Hindustan’. Their only purpose is to serve the agenda of foreign masters. They are the enemies of Pakistan, and they will be dealt with accordingly,” he stated.

Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized the need to build a strong Pakistan where all institutions function under the Constitution, law, and in service of the people—free from political or personal agendas. He asserted that any narrative aimed at weakening the state will be opposed.

During the Q&A session, a strong sentiment emerged: “This safe homeland stands protected because of the uniform.” Participants expressed full trust and pride in Pakistan and its armed forces and vowed to stand shoulder to shoulder with them always.
