Terrorists’ Homes Demolished After Karak Attack That Martyred Five Policemen

In the aftermath of the terrorist attack in Garagari that claimed the lives of five police personnel, security forces on Tuesday carried out a major operation in Ghool Banda area, within the limits of Khurram Police Station, demolishing the houses of two terrorist commanders.

Police sources said a heavy police contingent launched the operation at around 2:30pm on December 24, during which the houses of terrorist commander Kaleemullah alias Saif-ul-Umar and his relative and deputy commander, Shoaib alias Saif-ul-Islam, were completely demolished and set on fire along with household belongings. The sources added that the houses had been partially demolished a day earlier.

According to the sources, the Garagari terrorist attack was carried out under the leadership of Shoaib alias Saif-ul-Islam, who later openly claimed responsibility for the attack in a video message.

Following the operation, the families of both terrorists shifted from the area to Paing, in the jurisdiction of RF Bannu, the sources said
