Lakki Marwat – In a major crackdown on Terrorists elements, Lakki Marwat Police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) launched a joint search and strike operation targeting the hideouts of the militant group “Fitnah Al-Khwarij” and their facilitators in the Wandha Amir area.
The operation, conducted under the directives of DPO Lakki Marwat Muhammad Jawad Ishaq (PSP) and led by DSP Lakki Zafarullah Khan, involved armoured vehicles and personnel from the district police, Elite Force, and CTD.
Authorities reported that multiple hideouts used by the militants were demolished, and a cache of weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles and ammunition, was recovered.
The coordinated raid aimed to restore peace in the region by dismantling networks of anti-social and extremist elements. Police officials reaffirmed their commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for the local population through proactive operations.
“This operation is a message to all those who threaten public safety — we will root out every last trace of militancy,” a senior police official stated.
