Terror Attack In Khuzdar’s Wadh Tehsil Claims Life Of 8-Year-Old, Injures Six Others

A terrorist attack in Wadh Tehsil of Khuzdar district, Balochistan, left an 8-year-old boy dead and six others injured, including women and children, after unidentified armed assailants targeted a house with a hand grenade, police said.

According to police sources, the assailants attacked the residence of two brothers originally from Kashmore, Sindh, who were working as labourers in Wadh. The victims’ families were present in the house at the time of the attack.

The hand grenade explosion resulted in the immediate death of the young boy, while six others, including women and children, sustained injuries. All the injured were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, where medical personnel confirmed that their condition was stable and no longer critical.

Police officials stated that the motives behind the attack are yet to be ascertained. A full-scale investigation has been launched, and search operations are underway to apprehend the perpetrators. Early indications suggest the involvement of terrorist elements in orchestrating the assault.

The incident has created fear and anxiety in the local community. Residents have strongly condemned the attack and called on authorities to strengthen security measures and ensure public safety in the region.
