A major intelligence-based operation carried out by the Security Forces and Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North) has successfully neutralised ten operatives of Fitna-al-Hindustan, the India-backed militant network, in the mountainous outskirts of Pahrod, Nushki. The operation, conducted from July 19 to 21, marks a significant blow to cross-border militancy and external efforts to destabilise Balochistan.
Acting on confirmed intelligence, security forces launched a precision strike against concealed militant hideouts, triggering a fierce exchange of fire. All ten operatives of Fitna-al-Hindustan were eliminated during the operation. The neutralised group was actively preparing to establish illegal checkpoints on National Highway N-40, intending to obstruct traffic, loot passengers, and carry out targeted killings of civilians.
Investigations revealed the group’s involvement in previous armed assaults, including a planned attack on the Levies Police Station in Kardgap, as well as multiple incidents of robbery and murder on key transit routes N-40 and N-25. Their actions had posed a direct threat to regional stability and civilian life.
A substantial cache of weapons was recovered from the scene, including foreign-manufactured firearms, explosives, and ammunition, confirming external sponsorship and logistical support. The seizure underscores the depth of foreign interference, particularly from India, in fomenting unrest in Balochistan under the guise of local insurgencies.
Following the successful engagement, security forces conducted an extensive clearance operation across the area, which has now been declared secure. The completion of this high-impact mission reinforces the resolve of Pakistan’s security apparatus in its broader campaign to eliminate foreign-sponsored sabotage networks and restore peace in the province.
The operation stands as a clear message to hostile actors and their proxies: Pakistan will confront and dismantle every threat to its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
