In a significant counter-terrorism operation, security forces eliminated four terrorists belonging to a terror outfit declared as Fitna al-Khawarij by the state. The operation took place in the Shawal area of North Waziristan, a region long targeted by cross-border terrorists.
According to security sources, the slain terrorists were Afghan nationals and were actively involved in attacks on Pakistani security forces. Notably, they were implicated in a recent IED attack that claimed the lives of ten security personnel.
In what is being termed a swift and decisive action, the forces avenged their fallen comrades by taking out the terrorists responsible. “Justice has been served,” said a security official. “This operation sends a clear message, every drop of our martyrs’ blood will be accounted for.”
The security forces reiterated their unwavering resolve to eliminate every last terrorist from Pakistani soil, vowing that peace will not be compromised until the final Khawarij is brought to justice.
