Stop the Rhetoric, End Terror Support: Pakistan Slams Indian FM’s Remarks

Rhetoric, Terror, Pakistan

Pakistan has strongly condemned recent remarks by India’s FM (Foreign Minister), calling them baseless and provocative. During the weekly media briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan said that India must end its anti-Pakistan rhetoric and focus on halting its sponsorship of terrorism.

“The Indian foreign minister never misses an opportunity to target Pakistan. Instead of issuing statements against us, India should focus on ending its own support for terrorism and bloodshed abroad,” the spokesperson stated.

Ongoing Investigations and Regional Ties

Commenting on the recent Jaffar Express terror attack, the spokesperson confirmed that investigations are ongoing. “The terrorists involved were reportedly in contact with handlers based in Afghanistan,” he said.

Highlighting Pakistan’s foreign policy, the spokesperson reiterated the country’s commitment to maintaining good relations with all nations. “China is our time-tested friend, and our relationship with the United States spans decades.”

Condemning Israeli Aggression in Gaza

The Foreign Office also denounced Israeli atrocities in Gaza, particularly the bombing of hospitals. “Targeting hospitals is a grave violation of human rights. The people of Gaza must be granted their right to self-determination under UN resolutions.”

Clarifying Ties with Bangladesh

Addressing media speculation about Pakistan-Bangladesh relations, the spokesperson confirmed that recent talks between the two nations’ foreign secretaries were held in a cordial atmosphere. “Some unresolved issues were discussed respectfully, but despite the positive environment, certain elements are spreading misleading propaganda, which is not helpful,” he added.
